Once an Artist…

3 May

Although my profession is no longer, or should I say not currently that of an artist, I have never truly stopped being an artist. My focus has simply been devoted to other endeavors from time to time. I went back to school and got a second degree, got a job in engineering, and started a family. During that time there were no shortage of projects. There are always things to make, modify, or manage. Time to be creative seems to find me and I am never short of ideas.

I hope to use this website as a means to share my creativity with others. Except when it isn’t… art is meant to be seen, heard, or experienced. I hope sharing my art in this way can be of benefit to others much in the same way creating it was for me.

Here is a small smattering of my art over the years. As time permits, I would love to elaborate on these past projects as well as future ones. Once an Artist, always an Artist!

Latest Work – Guitars

I decided to teach myself how to make guitar necks.  In doing so I revisited my love of guitars as objects as well as instruments and consequently created several guitars.  It was a fun experiment that I hope leads to more guitar making in the future.
